Rainbow Bible is a devotional companion for the King James Version (KJV). It offers interactive reading, themed verse widgets, favorites, and sharing so that scripture stays close throughout the day. We respect your privacy. This policy explains what data the app handles and how it is used.
The app may save information such as your current reading chapter, typography settings, favorites list, and widget configuration (selected verse, theme, and background color). These items are written to the app’s sandboxed storage (UserDefaults and the shared App Group so the Home Screen widget can read them) and are never uploaded to our servers.
Your control:
To keep the Home Screen widget synchronized, the app writes the selected verse, theme, and background style into an iOS App Group container. This container is accessible only by the Rainbow Bible app and its official widget extension on your device. No information is transmitted to us or to third parties.
Tapping “Send Feedback” in Settings opens your Mail app with a draft email to lidonghui11911@gmail.com. To help troubleshoot, the draft includes the app version, iOS version, and device model. You can review or delete this information before sending. We only receive what you choose to send; the app never transmits data silently in the background.
Certain buttons may open our official website or this privacy policy in an in‑app browser. Visiting those pages may allow the website to collect standard server logs or cookies according to its own policy. The main reading and widget features remain fully offline.
Rainbow Bible provides scripture readings for personal devotion and study. It does not offer medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice. For any professional guidance, please consult qualified experts. Scripture reminders are inspirational tools, not certified counseling.
The app is rated 4+ for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because no account or personal identifiers are used, there is no way for us to identify individual users. If you believe a child has provided personal data via email, contact us and we will delete it.
Your scripture history and preferences stay on your device within the iOS sandbox. We rely on iOS security protections; please keep your device updated and protected with a passcode or biometrics.
Local records remain on your device until you delete items or uninstall the app. We do not maintain any remote backup of your data.
We may update this notice when introducing new features (for example, additional widget styles). When we make material changes, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and publish the new version at this URL.
