This app is an Education app focused on learning, reference, and quizzes about the classic text of the I Ching. It provides hexagram lookup, curated explanations, and practice tests. We respect your privacy. This policy explains what data the app handles and how it is used.
The app may save learning‑related records locally (e.g., viewed hexagrams, practice records, favorites, study settings, quiz progress, and AI conversation history). This is kept in the app’s sandbox (UserDefaults).
Your control:
If you use AI interpretation, the app sends the content needed to generate a reply to an OpenAI‑compatible AI service endpoint, including: your question text, casting method, original/changed hexagram data, language setting, and follow‑up chat messages. The feature is optional and requires network access.
Please avoid entering sensitive personal data (for example: health details, financial account numbers, government IDs, or passwords) in AI chat.
AI requests are processed by third‑party AI service providers (including OpenAI‑compatible providers and, depending on routing, upstream model providers). Those providers may process and retain request data for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, and service quality according to their own policies. We do not use AI chat content for advertising.
If you tap “Feedback” in Settings, your Mail app opens with a pre‑filled message to lidonghui11911@gmail.com. For troubleshooting, the draft includes app version, iOS version, and device model. You can review and remove this information before sending. We only receive the email you choose to send; the app itself does not transmit any data in the background.
The app may open web content (official site or this policy) inside an in‑app browser. Visiting those pages may allow the website to collect standard server logs or cookies according to its own policy. The core app features remain fully offline.
The app presents the I Ching for educational and cultural study. Any hexagram casting demonstrations are provided strictly for learning how the classic system works and have no predictive, therapeutic, or advisory claim. The app does not provide fortune‑telling, and it is not a substitute for professional advice (medical, legal, financial, psychological, or otherwise).
The app is rated 4+ and intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and we do not require an account or any personal identifiers. If you believe we have received personal data from a child, contact us and we will delete it.
Your data stays on your device within the iOS sandbox. We rely on the security protections provided by iOS. Always keep your device updated and protected with a passcode/biometrics.
Local history remains on your device until you delete items or uninstall the app. For AI interpretation requests, third‑party AI providers may retain logs for limited periods according to their own policies.
