When faced with a tricky issue, we often fail to see the full picture. The I Ching helps us, from a higher perspective, to see the causes, processes, and outcomes of the matter—its reverse side, as well as how it looks from the other person’s point of view.
The I Ching was written by an ancient sage who was imprisoned. He faced great adversity in life, yet amid hardship, he perceived turning points and hope through the I Ching. When we consult the I Ching for divination, we often find that many matters are mired in difficulties—as if we too were trapped. But the I Ching will show us what to do to uncover turning points and hope.
